So you know how we are always encouraging you to journal or write your feelings down, and with it being Stress Awareness Month, we thought that we should share some of our favourite journals because we know just how powerful journalling can be.
It works in so many different ways …for example it helps you to release some of the distracting thoughts that take up space in your head, those stress inducing thoughts, the worries, the angry thoughts, self-doubt and more. Once you write them down each morning or evening you’re making space for more positive thoughts like your intentions and goals.
You could commit to a 7 day or 10 day journaling series where you write openly about how you feel each day, express your feelings as they flow – anger, joy, sadness, whatever they are, just own them….you can experiment with doing it every other day…find what works best for you.
Journaling is not just a fun thing to do – its benefits are backed up by psychological research for example it can help us to develop self-acceptance and get unstuck. Gratitude journaling can help us to feel more positive about our lives… the potential benefits are endless. So let’s go!
