Boots has opened a new concept store in Covent Garden!

This store, which opened on Friday 28th June at 11AM, features a beauty hall with its own YouTube studio as part of one of the biggest makeovers in the retailer’s 170-year history. The white marble-tiled beauty hall hosts more than 300 brands, including Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and the cosmetics label Urban Decay.

We’re excited to see Boots move into this new direction – it works with such amazing brands and finding a new and innovative way to showcase them is amazing. Online shopping is taking over more and more, but ideas like this show the true value of a physical shop – it’s about more than just picking up your products, it’s about an experience and we love that.

There’s a big emphasis on wellness, with their own Wellness Hall featuring their biggest ever wellness range – including brands never before seen at Boots!

You’ll also find the Innovation Studio, which will offer health and fitness technology.

Stepping into becoming more eco-friendly, Boots also has a Beauty Kitchen,  where you can refill your empties from sustainable brands and a Rehydration Station where you can refill your water bottles if you’re getting a little parched!

The Beauty Hall offers  Josh Wood Colour Consultations, and a La Roche-Posay skincare tool, along with their first Mask Bar and a special Instagram Zone.

They’ve even breathed new life into their Pharmacy area.

You can make use of the “express pick-up lanes” for NHS prescriptions and there will also be two new pharmacy services – UTI Test & Treat, which means pharmacists can prescribe antibiotics without you having to see a doctor. There is also a Skin Scanning Service, which aims to help people understand and treat skin conditions.

It’s definitely something worth checking out and we look forward to seeing if this theme will continue with other stores across the UK!

including an Innovation Studio and a Beauty Kitchen.
