Is your hair feeling damaged or perhaps just a little dry and lacklustre? Perhaps you’ve overdone it with the straighteners or got a new dye job when the salons open and your hair isn’t feeling as healthy as you’re used to. Well here’s some products that’ll help repair some of that damage through the use of bond builders, moisture and protein treatments!
Olaplex No3. Hair Perfector
Let’s start with the most unusual one on this list. This is something a little different than the others on this list: this isn’t a moisture or protein treatment. It’s a bond building treatment. Starring a patented active ingredient that works on a molecular level, Olaplex formulas seek out broken bonds in the hair (which are caused by chemical, thermal and mechanical damage) and repair them, restoring compromised hair to former glory.
The star ingredient is bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate to strength and repair your hair.
This treatment will help to repair damaged hair and leave it feeling stronger and healthier – a must have particularly for those of you that have colour treated hair!

Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair
I use this after every pretty much every wash (unless I’m trying something new). It’s a daily protein treatment to strengthen and protect your hair… and it is such a beautiful product to strengthen and protect the hair. You apply it to wet clean hair and it’s more a serum to use before styling products to strengthen and protect.
Wanna find out more about why protein is important to repair damaged hair? Read our feature about protein treatments here. Not only does this repair damage, it is also a heat protectant, so great to use when using things like a diffuser to protect your strands!

Bumble and Bumble Overnight Damage repair Masque
What I love about this is you can apply it to dry hair and leave it overnight. Sometimes, I just don’t have time to apply a mask to wet hair and then washing it out again, so this is a lot more practical for me, particularly on busier weeks.
Instantly when washing it off I felt that my hair was so much smoother, it was easier to brush and felt so soft and healthy… love it! This mask has a few different protein ingredients in this, along with emollients and humectants to draw moisture to the hair. My hair loves this!

Of course, none of these products can completely reverse all of the damage: sometimes the best thing is to get a trim and remove those dead ends!
These are just a few of the hair treatments I’ve been loving to repair damaged strands… leave a comment if you’d us to share some more in the future!
