Let’s face it, sometimes the process involved with moisturising our bodies with lotions, creams and butters can be a little time consuming ( and we’re not knocking it because it allows time for mindful beauty …but applying oils can be mindful too) so here’s our edit of body oils that will deliver moisture and nourishment quickly and of course there’s something for everyone….even for those who think that they don’t like oils.

Dry oil formulations are perfect for summer use because they are easily absorbed as well as being deeply nourishing.
A dry oil is perfect for those who don’t like to use oils because they can leave marks on clothing and can sometimes sit on the surface of the skin. A dry oil is basically any oil that your skin absorbs quickly and easily & most dry oils are high in linoleic acid which is thought to help keep your skin hydrated and maintain its natural moisture barrier and that includes oils like : avocado, sunflower, rosehip, sesame, borage, sesame, grapeseed, hazelnut, cranberry and Evening Primrose Oil , argan oil.
However most of the oils that we mention below are dry oils based on their ingredients and all of them deliver moisture and nourishment to all skin types.
