Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to start my day than being enveloped lovely fragrances both in the shower and afterwards.
This is true for me pretty much all of the time, but I have to say that over the past few months fragrance and its ability to lift my mood and just make me feel comforted has been a real saviour. So much so that I’ve been using beautifully scented soaps, shower gels and body lotions often within the same fragrance family to achieve the layering effect, there Is some form of fragrance in every room at home and wherever I’m working too.
I couldn’t wait to try some of the offerings from SoapSmith especially as they have a range of beautifully scented matching items…so that You can really get your fragrance groove on with bath soak, soap bars or body wash and body lotion.
I love the fact that there are seven fragrance families, each uniquely named after a different part of London. I tried the award winning ‘Camden’ range because I like the idea of a coconut, white musk and bergamot blend and I wasn’t disappointed. This smells glorious!

Camden Handmade Soap

I Love a good soap, especially one that not only smells good, but also adds some kind of nourishment to the skin. Soapsmith make their soap by hand using traditional cold pressed methods…which dates back to 2800 BC!
These soap bars are made with Shea butter and coconut butter which makes for a rich lather plus your skin isn’t left feeling dry.

Camden Hand Lotion

This lotion is luxuriousrich and deeply moisturisingI often find myself disappointed with body lotions as many of them are too thin and watery to be more than a temporary salve on my dry skin, but this lotion is more like a cream and the effect on the skin is long lasting thanks to ingredients like sweet almond oil, cocoa seed butter, and coconut. This dynamic duo are perfect for self care moments and let’s face it we could all benefit from taking some time for conscious bodycare.
