There’s something quite magical about a good cleansing balm. They’re comforting, deeply cleansing and exactly what our skin craves. I love the sensory experience of massaging a cleansing balm into the skin as it melts into an oil, warming with your body temperature and wrapping you in its luscious scent.
The Emma Hardie Vitamin C Brilliance Cleansing Balm takes everything we already love about the brand’s iconic Moringa Cleansing Balm, an award-winning favourite here at Wow Beauty for many years, and elevates it with the powerhouse ingredient, Vitamin C. Known for brightening dull skin and improving radiance, Vitamin C makes this cleansing balm a glow-giving multitasker that cleanses while supporting a brighter, more even skin tone.
This luxe cleanser also comes with a dual-action cleansing cloth designed to gently buff away the balm while providing a light exfoliation, leaving skin feeling polished, fresh, and truly clean.

Key ingredients

- Cranberry Seed Oil: a superfood with antioxidant properties.
- Vitamin E: for a brightening and hydrating boost.
- Hexylresorcinol: proven to reduce signs of hyperpigmentation.
Points to Consider
- This cleansing balm has Emma Hardie’s signature scent – and this mix of fragrance and essential oils could be irritating for those with sensitive skin, particularly if you use this around the eyes. Patch testing is recommended.
- It’s got a premium price point, so its certainly more of an investment product compared to other cleansing balms on the market.
- Its recommended you use a cleansing cloth to remove the cleanser – you must make sure to clean this regularly and if you don’t have backups, this might be tricky to use regularly.
- This product contains vitamin c which is known for brightness, but the potency may decrease over time especially if its exposed to light/heat, so be mindful of storage.
How to Use the Emma Hardie Vitamin C Cleansing Balm
Massage a small amount of balm into dry skin.
Watch as make-up, SPF, and daily impurities dissolve instantly.
Use the dual-action cloth with warm water:
- Start with the gentle microfibre side to wipe away the balm.
- Follow with the exfoliating muslin side for a light polish.
Rinse skin and enjoy a fresh, glowing finish.
