Here are some options for some really fabulous skincare items that everyone can use… from acids, to oils, serums, cleansers and moisturisers! There’s something for everyone who loves skincare here.
Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm
This balm has a light and silky texture which makes massaging it into the skin a sensual pleasure: it’s not a thick/heavy balm but it melts into the skin beautifully. After massaging simply use the cute cloth that’s been provided (or your own Muslin cloth) to complete the cleansing process, rinsing with warm water. The result: a satiny clean skin. This works a treat on my combination skin and I’m keen to keep using it. It is rich in Hungarian Moor Mud which detoxifies and purifies the skin removing all makeup, even waterproof mascara. It’s like a spa in a pot.
OM Skincare Mindful Traveller
This is such a great little gift for someone who is always on the go, but wants to keep up a great skincare routine. This gorgeous little product is double ended, one side has their award-winning Pure Glow Cleanser and the other contains the OM Skincare Daily Radiance Moisturiser. It’s easily re-fillable and is slim, lightweight and so convenient. We’ve got a review of the cleanser here as it’s one of our favourites.
Nip + Fab Glycolic Night Pads
This is a good start for anyone who wants to get into chemical exfoliation, but is strong enough to really do something as well. It’s got a great ingredients list and doesn’t smell like potent or like alcohol either – just fresh and fruity.
These pads contain 5% Glycolic Acid to refine skin texture, Salicylic Acid which helps unclog congested skin and Lactic Acid which gently weakens the bonds holding dead skin cells together. Everyone needs to be exfoliating the dead skin cells regularly, so whoever uses them, no matter what their age or skin type, will see benefits.
Antonia Burrell Pressed Serum
I love a good serum especially when it possesses the qualities of a moisturiser as well! You can vary how you use it based on your skins needs… as an all in one product or just as a serum with a moisturiser on top. It’s great to experience an effective serum that is based on extensive research into plant therapy without the inclusion of nasties like parabens, petrochemicals and artificial fragrances. Antonia says that she spent 5 years creating this power serum… a labour of love and I have to say it’s been well worth the wait.
The Brand says that this product is “Perfect for ALL skin types, ALL skin tones and ALL skin conditions” so you don’t have to worry about knowing that persons skin needs – this serum will benefit everyone. This serum is easily absorbed and leaves a silky-smooth finish. It works best using the ‘press method’ – pressing their oil into the skin. We have written a full review of this serum here.
The Ordinary ‘Hyaluronic Acid’ ‘Buffet’ and ‘Squalane’
I have included these as a trio as the work beautifully in tandem. I use the Hyaluronic Acid and Buffet in the morning and Squalane is used in the evening. Hyaluronic Acid can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water so this product will help you get more hydrated skin which is plumper, firmer and has a luminous glow. Buffet is a multi-peptide serum to tackle multiple signs of ageing, it feels silky on the skin and leaves the skin feeling plumped and together, these two products make your skin feel lovely. Squalane is fantastic at restoring the skins optimal moisture levels. It naturally occurs in the body, but as you grow older, this declines and this is usually when people start finding that their skin has become drier. It is fast absorbing and an absolute must-have in every skincare addicts arsenal! This is a great little set for someone who loves experimenting with their skincare!
Zelens Marine Complex Deep Restorative Cream
One if the 1st things that you’ll notice about This offering from zelens is its texture-a kind of cool, bouncy almost jelly like feel. This melts into the skin leaving it feeling moist and nourished all day long. This cream contains a unique blend of regenerative algae which stimulates collagen and elastin production. This would be most effect for someone who is interested in positive ageing, and it is suitable even for sensitive skin.
Sukin Hydrating Face Masque
This mask is rich and thick and leaves the skin feeling so lovely and moisturised. It contains mango seed butter, avocado oil and olive fruit extract along with papaya and pineapple which helps provide your skin with a healthy glow. Perfect to treat dry, winter skin and for a pamper session!
Origins Drink Up-Intensive Overnight Mask
This mask smells gorgeous and is like a real treat for the skin. It’s an overnight mask but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, just leaves you feeling deeply moisturised. It is enriched with Avocado Oil and Apricot Kernel Oil. Skin will be left feeling soft and plumped in the morning from the increase in moisture – and who do you know who doesn’t want that?
DHC Beauty Lift Eye Cream
This essence promotes firmer looking skin with a cooling roller ball format that feels just lovely on the eyes. It delivers the firming power of mevalonolactone, ceramide 3, and pentapeptide-18 to hydrate and lift and is a great stocking filler!
