MGC Derma is a brand that is utilising the skin care ingredient that’s making waves… cannabis! I’ve been trying out two products from their range and I’ve been loving them… and they also work amazingly together.

All of the products in the MGC Derma range are infused with proprietary CBD compounds to encourage renewal and rebalance in the skin. This is what the brand has to say about why CBD is effective in skincare: “Our skin has native receptors for cannabinoids – also known as hemp extracts – making them incredibly bioavailable, instantly recognised by skin to start moisturising and healing straight away.”

What’s to love

This lovely day cream makes the skin feel super smooth and soft. After use, my skin felt very hydrated and nice! The texture of the cream is soft and cooling to touch. It feels silky smooth and sinks into the skin easily with peptides that boost and plump the skin.

It also has SPF 30 – so great to protect your skin from the sun.

This cream is best for normal to dry skin.

  • Cannabinoids – also known as hemp extracts – to moisturise and heal the skin.

What’s not to love

The packaging is a little flimsy – the screw on lid doesn’t feel fit together very well.

MGC Derma CBD Hyaluronic and stem cells facial serum

This serum is is designed to be used daily and at night as part of their night range.

It absorbs well and makes the skin feel lovely. It has a slightly thicker texture compared to the day cream but not too thick- thinner than some other night creams out there.

Skin is left feeling glowing and plumped the next day, which I love!

  • Vitamin C which brightens and balances skin tone beautifully
  • Vitamin E provides antioxidant protection to protect your complexion from the damaging effect of free radicals.
  • Hyaluronic Acid to plump and hydrate the skin.
  • Cannabinoids – also known as hemp extracts – to moisturise and heal the skin.

What needs improving

Once again, the packaging needs a little improvement as the pump isn’t great and needs reviewing.
