I have been feeling HOT during this heatwave here in the UK and have been searching for something… anything to help cool me down. One thing that I love to use to keep myself cool and refreshed is a face mist… they are supremely refreshing and the added bonus is that they usually contain great ingredients for my skin! So here are a few mists that have been keeping me feel a little cooler on these especially hot summer days.

Devotion Rose Mist by Mauli

So my latest obsession is this gorgeous ‘Devotion Rose Mist’ which is designed to provide hydration for all skin types, but is especially good for sensitive skin. The mist contains 100% pure distilled rose water, so you won’t be spraying any nasties on your face and hair! Its cell-rejuvenating factor restores skin’s radiance and youthfulness and it also acts as a super sensory pick-me-up throughout the day.

Queen of Hungary mist by Omorovicza

This mist purifies and tones the skin with orange blossom, rose & sage water. It is designed to deliver long-lasting hydration and suppleness with apple pectin. The brand says that this will leave you with firmer, suppler and younger-looking skin, as the minerals will penetrate deep into the skin. The star ingredient in this is the Hungarian mineral-rich thermal water, which is supposed to start skin repair and stimulate regeneration. The Queen of Hungary’s water was the ‘original’ perfume, formulated in Europe at the command of Queen Elizabeth of Hungary and Omorovicza have revived this very recipe – very cool!

Rosewater Balancing Mist by Jurlique

Jurlique’s Rosewater balancing mist is another hot weather favourite. This refreshing mist is formulated to hydrate and soften your skin and is great for all skin types. Please note that while this has lots of goodies in it, the second ingredient in this is alcohol and it also has added fragrance to it, which can prove to be irritating on some people’s skin, so please bear that in mind.

Want to make these mists even more refreshing? Keep them in the fridge and so it’s nice and extra-cool when you go to spritz your face with them!
