Love Your Skin with Love Absolute

Love Absolute… Doesn’t the name alone sound just dreamy?

We’ve been loving these gorgeous products from the natural and eco-conscious skincare brand Love Absolute. Their products smell beautiful and we’re loving the results from them!

About the brand

This brand focuses on English grown purple fruits, wild flower oils and organic oils naturally high in essential fatty acids, micronutrients and antioxidants to bring life to their range. In fact, they describe themselves as:

“Naturally effective skincare which blends earthy ingredients with a dash of alchemy and cold pressed organic fruit and flower seed oils.”

Here are some of the products from their range that we’ve been enjoying:

cleansing balm

Amoral Calm Blue Cleansing Balm

This is quite a thick balm so doesn’t immediately smooth on the face easily, but emulsifies well and removes makeup and dirt on the skin well. Has a lovely soothing scent. It has a thick gel-balm texture. The key ingredient in this is Organic Superfood ‘Butterfly Pea’ Flower petal powder, which contains an abundance of the superfood antioxidant proanthocyanidin, which is thought to promotes collagen growth and skin cell elasticity. Skin feels cleansed and plump.

Lavish Cold Cream & Cleanser

Love the scent of this. Feels cooling, blends into the skin gorgeously and feels very nice. Lovely ingredients and feels quite luxurious.

It’s perfect for those who are in a rush – something to reach to on those late nights as a gentle leave-on cleanser and a nourishing cream. The cold cream cleanser to me, signifies a nod back to the older generations who used this more frequently than we do now. Really like the multi-purpose properties of this.

It contains a luxurious blend of english fruit oils and organic flower oils. The base cream blend contains naturally occurring lipid soluble antioxidants, tocopherols, amino acids and the organic oils deliver organic micronutrients; organic pigments, amino acids, carotenoids, viburnic acid and are extra vitamin rich.

serum

Facial Radiance Oil Serum

The scent is so beautiful, it makes you stop and inhale… it really make it into a skincare ritual. You can’t help but stop and really take note of what you’re doing with this oil. It has a great energy to it.

This lush and nourishing oil delivers on all levels: it plumps, it boosts radiance and it leaves the skin feeling nourished. All that you need is 2 or 3 drops applied to your face [I like applying it on my skin after dampening it with a hyaluronic mist or serum]  Allow it to settle and follow with moisturiser. This oil is jam packed with vitamins and micronutrients, as well as Gamma linoleic acid all of which work to condition and repair your skin.

Naked Rose Nutrition Cream

Feels nice on the skin, not sticky. Has a rose scent that isn’t overpowering – but more like a cream than a serum. Light enough to use during the day, but nicely hydrating enough that I’m happy to use it as a night cream too when needed. Skin feels noticeably softer and hydrated after use. In fact – the cream and oil together work really well. The cream on top creates a nice balance to the skin and they melt together into the skin really well.

Key ingredients in this include English Blackcurrant, Elderberry, Raspberry, Poppy Seed with Organic Rose Hip & Organic Thistle Seed Oils infused with Rose & Rose Geranium Essential Oils. It has a beautiful rose aroma from the Rose Centrifolia Flower Extract and Organic Rose Geranium essential oils.
