With Spring heading into summer, it’s the perfect time to switch up your serums and moisturisers, after all the products that you used to cocoon  and protect your skin through winter might be a little heavy for spring and summer..or you might just like to try something new; in either case I’ve selected some of my favourites here and I think that there’s something to suit everyone. The one thing that you’ll notice about many of these products is that they do more that one thing for your skin eg. They might hydrate and brighten or hydrate and firm and depending on your skin type you may not need to use much else on top. So here are 7 serums and 7 moisturisers for your consideration.

Serums

I think that it’s safe to say most of us are consistently using a serum or use them from time to time to boost our skin. The magic of serums is that they provide a concentrated boost of whatever the skin needs whether it’s hydration, nourishment or brightening. One sure thing is that there are so many to choose from that it can be confusing to know what to choose so here are some suggestions.
Vanderohe No 1 Nourishing face serum -this is one of my latest addictions which you can read about here  Vanderohe No 1 Nourishing Face Serum- A Mind, Body and Spirit Oil One of the many things that I love about this is that I don’t need to layer it, because it pretty much does everything that I like my skincare to do.

Image  Vital C serum hydrating ACE serum- I’m a Vitamin C advocate and I’ve recently been trying this one out, and it works well for me as it hydrates and brightens, but that said,  it’s not for those that are new to vitamin C as it contains high levels (20%) of A,C,E. As such it is not available on the high street.
