Many of us who are into skincare, especially preventative measures will know about the topical application of Vitamin C. I have to say that I like this mask because it’s a fast worker….I mean how much faster than 1 minute could you want a face mask to be? Also in that mere minute it boosts your skin, so it’s great to use if you need a brightening boost before going out or before a special occasion. Vitamin C applied to the skin is a potent antioxidant, great for brightening, boosting collagen, repairing sun damage and hyper-pigmentation.

What it does…

It brightens, tightens, revitalizes and smooths my skin, leaving it with a glow.

How….

With a potent water activated form of vitamin c. As soon as this pale green mask mixes with water the vitamin C is released

What’s in it…

  • It contains ‘bio extracts’.
  • Vitamin C from Ascorbic Acid stimulates collagen synthesis, evens out skin tone and provides instant radiance to the skin
  • Boswellic Acid from Boswellia Serrata Bark relaxes micro-contractions of facial tissue to smooth lines
  • Glycogen Magnesium from Marine Glucose Mineral boosts skin energy and radiance
  • As with all things REN there are no parabens or sulphates.

How to use…

REN say “Use every 3 days. After cleansing, apply over face and neck massaging with circular movements. Dampen finger tips with water and massage again to activate the Vitamin C. Leave for 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly.”
It has a slightly metallic odour which is normal

Caution ….

REN say that you should do a patch test if you have sensitive skin, which makes sense because depending on the cause of your sensitivity vitamin c can irritate.
