I’m really glad that I attended the Vichy press launch back in August, because it was a memorable experience: not just because of the lovely venue, but because of the enthusiasm of the Vichy team who really took the time explain each of the products, explaining how and why they work. I’m no Vichy virgin, having used their products on and off over the years, but somehow I found myself staying for nearly 30 minutes getting reacquainted with Vichy products old and new!

Now I have to confess that as a beauty junkie, getting ready to go on vacation is always a little bit tricky, because I want to take so many fabulous products! As I edited my beauty bag, the Aqualia Thermal Power Serum made the final cut and I packed it (luckily as it’s only 30 mls  I was able to take it on the plane to use throughout the flight) and off we went on our tropical vacation. This serum is designed to offer deep hydration, and I have to say that I applied it a couple of times during the 9 hour flight and it kept my skin feeling lovely and moist.  This serum is a little milky in texture and goes on like a cool refreshing drink for the skin, and before you know it your skin drinks it in, leaving a smooth, hydrated, non-sticky finish. At this stage you can use your regular moisturiser on top, however with my combination skin coupled with tropical humidity I used the serum everyday on it’s own and it was more than enough.
