Here’s a little sneak peek into what we’ve been loving in the month and what you might be seeing in upcoming reviews. These are our Star Picks for May!

Phillip Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleanser

I have to say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this pretty peach scented cleanser- with ingredients including glycolic acid, salicylic acid and other goodies it gives a beautiful clean…My combination skin is left CLEAN AND SILKY SMOOTH…that’s all I’m saying, for now, you’ll have to wait for the full review to discover more. – Denise

Eucerin spf 50 oil control gel cream

OMG …I’m in LOVE! Oil free, Matte finish, totally transparent so the brown skin that mama gave me looks flawless! oh yeah and spf 50…review coming soon …  – Denise

 Fenty Lip Gloss

This beauty has been in my bag ever since it came out…it’s long-lasting, the gorgeous soft bronze gold colour suits EVERYBODY, it looks great alone for a shimmery natural look or over lipstick, oh yes and it feels great on the lips!  – Denise

Therapie Roques O’Neil Restore Aura Spray

I warn you now….this is addictive. If you are into protecting your chakras, your personal space then this is for you. Formulated by the legendary aromatherapist and healer Michelle Roques O’Neil to help reset the mind, lift fatigue and protect the aura…and this blend that includes frankincense and lavender amongst other things does just that.  – Denise

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter Eyeshadows

These liquid glitter eyeshadows are what really kicked off the craze and they definitely live up to the hype! They are highly pigmented and beautifully glitter eyeshadows with serious staying power! I’m not kidding – I applied these at 11am in the morning and when I washed my face at 10pm that night, they were still on my eyes without flaking or creasing. This is a limited edition set (so be quick if you want to pick one up!) but you can buy the colours individually. The colours I have are rose gold and silver ‘Rose Gold Retro’, champagne, silver and copper ‘Kitten Karma’ and deep tan and silver ‘Smouldering Satin’. – Jessica

Anatome ‘Support + Protection’ Oil

I recently attended a therapeutic workshop to be introduced to their Essential Oil Elixir Collection at the Anatome store in Shoreditch and I fell in love with their ‘Support + Protection’ oil. It is designed to shield and purify personal outward space – you apply this to your hands and then use it to purify the air around you, along with inhaling it gently to help fight off unwanted bacteria, intrusive surroundings and claustrophobia. It’s very grounding and for someone who travels on public transport a lot – it’s a perfect companion! Each of the different sizes has different purposes, with the one we have – the 15ml one – is more concentrated and most effective by applying to pulse points when needed. – Jessica
