It’s a new year beauties, and with that, new Star Picks! We’re always testing out new products and we love talking about them… so here are some that we can’t wait to share with you and that have been ones that we’ve really loved this month. You may also see them in upcoming reviews – but here’s a sneak peek at ones that really caught our eye. These are our Star Picks for January!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

This palette is a beauty. It has a beautiful velvet packaging and inside is a really gorgeous selection of colours. The shadows are incredibly pigmented – I was surprised in fact and were caught out on more than one occasion when I applied the colour to my eyes and were given such amazing, deep coverage. Although I will say that they do blend out very well and you can tame down the pigmentation through blending out quite easily. You barely need to dip into the palette and BAM – the pigmentation is there. Fantastic! It has a lovely colour selection – bright but pretty wearable. Love the burnt orange shades in particular.

Colourpop Jelly Much Eyeshadow in ‘Foxes’

This is not for the faint hearted… a beautiful gold shade of eyeshadow that in a jelly formula, this beauty delivers colour and payoff amazingly. It looks beautiful and doesn’t crease or flake. A stunner!

The Foxes Jelly Much Shadow is $8 from Colourpop

Jane Scrivner: Nourishing Cleanser

This cleansing balm is the exact sort of cleanser that I enjoy most. It has the luxury feel to it, with a beautiful rich colour, but it’s also slippy and oily enough to really get the job done. This cleanser is good enough to be used on the face to remove all traces of makeup (without stinging the eyes) but I prefer using this as a skin cleanser – so as a second cleanse or the one I use first in the morning. The skin feels soft, nourished and with a really lovely glow.

Casamen Carelli: BELLISSIMA BALM – Sea Buckthorn Balm

This lush balm from Casamen Carelli is a lovely discovery! It’s got a lovely silky but deeply hydrating texture and is perfect for all skin types.
