We’re excited to share with you our latest monthly round-up! Here at Wow Beauty, we’re constantly trying new products and we love talking about them… so here are some that we can’t wait to share with you and that have been ones that we’ve really loved this month. You may also see them in upcoming reviews – but here’s a sneak peek into them. These are our Star Picks for September!

Therapie Roque’s O’Neil’s Aura Mist

Now, we have to admit that September was a busy month and we needed all the support we could get. You may have seen but along with all of our Wow Beauty planning and creating, we were also the HMU team for Mini Mode, which was incredible.

Michelle’s Aura Mist was reached for a lot by everyone on the team to keep us grounded and focused. Just a couple of sprays of this gorgeous mist helped to calm and soothe us due to the blend of frankincense and lavender amongst other things. It was a much needed aid over the month of September and never failed us!

Hourglass Caution Extreme Mascara

Wow! is my response to this new ‘Caution’ mascara from Hourglass… simply put it gives your lashes a mega boost of everything… no caution needed here!

Elf Lip Exfoliator

This scrub is easy to throw in the purse and to use in a pinch – when you’re on the go and your lips are looking a little worse for wear (something I often find when wearing liquid lipsticks). It comes in a stick format reducing the mess as you don’t have to try and scoop the product from a pot and it exfoliates really well. It has a great ingredients list too – infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils to hydrate and exfoliate. We have the shade ‘Brown Sugar’.

Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion

This body lotion came to our attention because uniquely – it’s a treatment lotion and contains the AHA – Lactic Acid to exfoliate and hydrate the skin.

This body lotion is particularly good for those of you who have dry /sensitive skin and sometimes find actual scrubs a little too harsh – or for those with ingrown hairs or Keratosis Pilaris. It’ll gently exfoliate the skin whilst hydrating it at the same time. This lotion is clinically proven to significantly increase moisture levels in the skin for up to 12 hours and it’s certainly a winner in our book. Skin is left feeling soft and smoother after a few uses.

S5 Neutralise Cleanser

The first thing about this was that it has a very unusual texture – one of the most unusual textures I’ve found in a cleanser. It uses a lot of the same ingredients and textures that you’ll find in a serum, but with added ingredients that calm and cleanse the skin.

I massage it in and then use a muslin cloth to remove it and I’m left with great, cleansed looking skin. It feels almost ‘squeaky clean’ but certainly without the stripped feeling – it’s a gentle but very effective cleanser without harming the skin’s barrier and helping to calm the skin. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean this gave!

We’ll soon be posting a video with S5’s founder Laura who will be discussing the cleanser in question – so stay tuned.
