Setting powders are becoming increasingly popular and I would like to talk about one of my favourite setting powders – the fabulous RCMA No Color Powder!

Setting powder is used to absorb any excess oil on the skin and to help set your foundation and concealer in place. This powder is something I have been trying to get my hands on for a while, but after being out of stock for a long time, I finally got my hands on it and I haven’t been able to stop using it since. This powder is like pixie dust. It will seamlessly blend into the skin and set your foundation and concealer in place all day long, without settling in fine lines.

The RCMA No Color Powder is, as the name suggests, a setting powder with no actual color or pigment, meaning that it blends into the skin and disappears, even on deeper skin tones. It won’t leave behind any white reside and causes no issues with flash photography – I have had issues with other setting powders which have left a white cast behind no matter how much I try to buff it away, or makes you looking ghostly in flash photography. I have had no such problem with this powder – and it doesn’t change the colour or texture of your foundation either.

One way you can use this powder is just dusting it on the areas of your face that need a little powder- but you can also ‘bake’ with this one. Yes, I do ‘bake’ my makeup sometimes – usually just dabbing the powder with a sponge under my eyes and to any other areas that I apply my concealer, leaving it on when I apply my eye makeup and then swiping it away with my brush. By leaving it on your skin for a few minutes, it will warm up and really help it set your foundation and concealer – it also means I can sweep away any eyeshadow fallout easily at the same time. Whereas some setting powders blur your skin and leave it feeling very velvety, this does not change the texture of your skin, but will simply set your make-up perfectly. Even if you accidentally apply too much, this beauty won’t cause any problems or exaggerate any fine lines. I have dry skin and it never looks cakey or clogs up my pores. It just locks the makeup down and leaves it nice and smooth.

If you’re looking for a new setting powder– you’ll definitely need to try this one out. This no-fuss product will get the job done!
