I’m a sucker for glitter, always have been. If there’s sparkle involved – I’m there!
I’ve also been a long-term Urban Decay lover, since my teenage years and everyone knows how iconic their glitters are.
So when I discovered the Urban Decay Moondust Quad Eyeshadow Palette, I knew I had to try it. Here’s my thoughts…
What’s to love
- They’re pigmented, glittery and very wearable.
- Beautiful as a topper but pigmented enough to be a standalone main attraction eyeshadow
- Each shadow is packed with glitter and a base, when you use your finger to apply it also has a base colour too.
- Lovely smooth, creamy formula – no chalkiness or patchiness here!
- The colours are quite neutral, so it’s possible to use on a day-to-day basis (yes, I’ll proudly wear glitter out to the shops, glitter is not just for special occasions). You can just swipe and go.
- You get the best payoff applying with your finger, but you can use a brush for a more diffused effect.

Some things to note
- They’re not quite the same level of quality as their individual shadows, but it’s a great way to get 4 shades at a decent price.
- Although the formula is creamy, glitter by nature can still travel and lead to a little fallout before. Try using a primer beforehand to help keep everything in place.
- The shades lean quite similar in tone, so you’re not getting a huge variety in this quad. But if these are your sort of colours – you’ll love it!

If you love a bit of sparkle (or want something that makes you look put together in under a minute), this is such a fun addition to your makeup bag.
Low effort, high impact… exactly how we like it!
