Here’s where I worked with star Hair Stylist Phillip Bell on his award winning shoot for the British Hairdressing Awards.

Here it was all about graphic eyeliner.

This shoot is unusual because even though it’s a hair shoot, it was all about black and white… photography, clothes and makeup! Of course Phillip won the award! I guess it just goes to show how fashion forward we were, as black eyes are one of the key trends for summer 2015! My idea for the makeup was that it should be sleek, and strong without competing with the hair, and I decided on black because its versatile and timeless. It was important for the makeup to be as individual as each of the models, something to compliment and highlight their beauty, with the focus on their eyes and skin.

‘HD ready’ skin is a big theme for spring summer 2015, and judging by the products that the beauty brands are coming out with, its going to be a continuing theme! It’s all about products that deliver good coverage, skin perfection and luminosity without being heavy. If you are going to focus on one feature like I did here, then your skin needs to look flawless.
