Recently I invested in the new foundation stick from Makeup For Ever HD which I am now obsessed with! At first I was unsure about buying this makeup product, as I have never used a full coverage, stick foundation before and was afraid that it would feel extremely thick and cakey. However, I kept seeing amazing reviews about it and thought why not and now I have no regrets!

The foundation has a dewy finish, (which I personally love), it is long-lasting and not at all cakey or patchy, and it feels very lightweight on the skin. It also has very buildable coverage. It is a very easy product to use. You can either apply it straight on your face or collect the product with a brush or sponge and then apply it to your face. It is also easy to blend out as I personally found that the colour perfectly matched my skin tone.

The only con I can say there is about the foundation is that over time it gets very shiny around the t- Zone area and may make your face look oily, however that is nothing that a matte powder or blotting paper can’t fix.

I definitely, without a doubt, recommend this product especially if you have normal to dry skin or if you are looking for full coverage, dewy finish foundation. However, it can also be made to have a matte finish with a matte finishing powder or a setting powder.

This comes in a great range of colours, available from Makeup Forever.
