I am a fragrance addict. There, I’ve said it. I’ve been obsessed with fragrance as far back as I can remember (Mom I have to confess that I was responsible for your perfumes finishing so quickly, especially your YSL OPIUM and your Giorgio Beverley Hills) However although my teenage tastes have since evolved, my love of perfume has grown…I can literally count the days that I’ve been without fragrance On one hand! No matter whether I’m staying home or heading out fragrance is present…fragrance makes me feel…well like me.

There is a saying that goes something like ‘Confidence is silent. Insecurities are loud’ and this is what comes to my mind with this gorgeous A la Rose fragrance. This perfume is a sumptuous fusion of two different roses Damascus rose and Turkish rose absolute, as well as orange, violet, musk and cedar and this fusion creates a complex, feminine and grown up scent. The confidence comes from the fact that although A la Rose has numerous notes, she is not overpowering, she is just ‘present’. She manages to be both sensual and fresh at the same time, thanks to the woody Cedar base notes. This is a rose that can be worn at anytime, it is season-less and timeless.

They say “An eau de parfum that evokes the crisp tenderness of rose petals and a radiant aura, À la rose draws a free-spririted elegance.”

I say … oh Yes.
