Lash Lift and Go!

Although the hair on my head is curly, my lashes have always been quite poker straight, so it always takes a little bit of love and attention to get them to curl. Half the time I apply mascara and you can barely see it because my lashes stick straight out!

One of the best ways to enhance the lashes, without extensions or daily curling, is by doing a lash lift. Much like a perm for your hair, it’s a permanent treatment that chemically curls your lashes and lasts for a few months… basically until the next cycle of your lashes come through.

If you’ve ever had a lash lift before, you know how it works. Usually, the treatment takes around 45 minutes to an hour… but recently, I heard about another type of lash lift. One that (excluding prep work) takes as little as 15 minutes.  I recently got the chance to experience The Elleebana Lash Lift at The Everlasting Salon and wow – I was impressed!

My beautician Kelly was lovely and she explained every step as we went through the process. She made sure I was comfortable so it was the best experience possible.

Within no-time, I was being told that my treatment was done and I was left with the beautiful results. Kelly also made sure to thoroughly cleanse the lashes after taking off the serums too, which I greatly appreciate. You can’t deny that these results are brilliant – just look at the before and afters!

What is the Elleebana Lash Lift?

Born in Australia, the innovative Elleebana Lash Lift is a two-step process that only takes between 20-30 minutes and opens the eyes to give the appearance of longer, thicker and darker lashes that lasts up to 8 weeks, providing much less maintenance than eyelash extensions.

What’s to love

• The lash lift is super quick: you could fit this in a lunch break if you’re local. Because the products aren’t on the lashes for too long, I found it a much more pleasant experience.
• They’re long lasting and low maintenance: the treatment lasts a few months, which means I have lovely curled lashes without having to do anything.
• Even though I didn’t have a tint on them, the lashes look so good people have asked if I’ve been wearing mascara! You can also get a tint too if your eyelashes are lighter.
• It doesn’t cause any damage to the lashes in the long term.
• The salon itself was lovely – it has very pretty interiors and was overall and great experience.
• The results speak for themselves – you can see how straight my lashes were before and how they’re looking now – fabulous!
