Jessica’s Picks..

matcha

SANA Certified Organic Matcha

I’ve become such a matcha tea girl recently and this matcha has become my latest go-to.  This matcha from SANA has a mild flavour but gives the drink a creamy texture, which I love.

Matcha is a great way to get slow-released caffeine and it has tons of other benefits too, as its rich in protective polyphenols and more.

I enjoy one with my breakfast first thing and it gets me through my morning without the caffeine crash.

curlsmith

Curlsmith In-Shower Style Fixer

This gel from Curlsmith has been a gamechanger!

It gives me super strong hold and as long as I break the cast, it doesn’t feel crunchy… but my curls last for days and days (as long as I follow appropriate measures like sleep protection etc) which is a rarity for me. I’ve been loving the results this gel has given me and are currently experimenting which leave-ins and oils work best.

It’s not for the faint hearted, it gives super strong hold. Make sure to use this with soaking wet hair.

Denise’s Picks…

merit

Higher Nature MSM Powder

If there’s one supplement that delivers fast results for nails and hair it’s MSM! I’ve taken this powder by Higher Nature on and off for a few years and always wonder why I don’t just take it consistently because it works.

Within a couple of weeks of daily, use my nails are stronger, less prone to splits and growing faster… as in I’m having to keep filing them down. Apart from the vanity aspect, Sulphur is one of its main components and is crucial in collagen production, so it’s great for skin and joints too.

merit lipstick

Merit Signature Lip Lightweight Lipstick

I love red lipstick … especially matte red. But not all matte lipsticks are created equal. I’ve tried some mattes that are so drying that my lips end up looking parched and feeling uncomfortable. So meet Merit Beauty in  ‘Vermilion’, which is the perfect warm red and ‘Equestrian’ which is the perfect warm brown ….I alternate depending on my mood. I love them because of the lightweight velvety feel …coupled with amazing coverage and long lasting pure colour. Go get it!
