Feed your skin with Vitamin B serum by Alpha-H!

Whenever I get an invitation to an Alpha H launch I’m always really excited and I’ll make the effort come rain or shine to attend. Why? Because it’s always such a pleasure to witness the passion and excitement of Michelle Doherty the #bossbabe founder and Tom Ogden the U.K. Training Director. You know me ….it’s all about the story and the Alpha H story is inspiring, due to its ongoing innovation and its authenticity…oh yes and I love the fact that it’s a family business.

This is the second event in their 21st year that I’ve had the pleasure to attend. On this particular November evening it was the launch of the ‘Day to Night’ collection. We sat in the elegant environs of St James Hotel for what was an intimate conversation with Michelle and Tom where we gained more insight into the philosophy behind the brand and the motivation that spurs them on to keep innovating.

The Buzz
The latest launch is the vitamins B serum with Copper peptides, Chia seeds and Ferulic Acid. This magical blue liquid is a mega skin hydrator. Now I’m a keen advocate of taking vitamin supplements and a good B complex formula is always part of my regime, but as Michelle explained even when we take oral supplements only a small amount gets to our skin. Vitamin B3 is the core vitamin in this serum; B3 is known for its ability to help the body break down carbs, fats and protein into energy: in this serum it helps to deeply hydrate and firm the skin whilst at the same time encouraging collagen production. Another bonus is that it promises to improve your skins immunity and barrier function.

And there’s more ….

This serum also contains Copper Peptides which work to neutralise those nasty old free radicals that can lead to skin ageing and boosting the skins production of hyaluronic acid. This also stimulates collagen and elastin production.

Then there’s the Chia seed which is rich essential fatty acids, actually it’s said to be the Oil with the highest concentration of antioxidants and it’s great for deep hydration.

Last but by no means least is Ferulic Acid another powerful antioxidant which has the added bonus skill of helping to prevent uneven skin tone and hyper-pigmentation.

I like this because….

It really has added an extra level of hydration to my skin! I’ve been applying it after my Vitamin C serum in the morning and hours later my skin is still feeling moist and hydrated; although I have combination skin with an oily t zone, my skin can sometimes get dehydrated but this serum has taken care of that, it’s like a drink for the skin. I can’t comment about the production of new collagen or the prevention of Hyper-pigmentation but I can tell you that this really is a super hydrating serum. This is a product that any woman can benefit from because however great your skin, a little extra hydration is always going to be a winner. Denise xx

How to use

Apply 2-3 drops each morning to a cleansed face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the delicate lip and eye areas. Follow with your preferred daily moisturiser. Suitable for all skin types as well as those that are sun damaged, dehydrated and prematurely aged.
