Medik8's Clarifying Foam Wash

Medik8 Clarifying Foam is a lightweight, gentle formula that leaves skin feeling refreshed, bright and clean day and night also previously known as BETAcleanse. The foam cleanses all dirt, oils, impurities and make-up, unclogging pores without overly drying the skin. It is extremely purifying and antibacterial, it lightly exfoliates the skin without any irritation which is incredible. This foam really does work especially improving skin tone and texture over time, I have seen a massive difference in my pores as it has minimized and my skin is extra clear.

Before using this cleanser, my skin wasn’t very healthy as I had a few enlarged pores, spots and discolouration. I started to use it and instantly, within the first week, I saw a massive difference with my pores being minimized and my spots were reduced. I washed my face twice a day for a month with this and my skin has transformed from being really dull to very bright and clear. I am really amazed with this clarifying foam because not a lot of skincare has cleared my skin this quickly. I also see a difference for when I wear makeup too, this cleanser has made my base smoother and healthier. The foam is very light and as soon as it’s on the skin, the foam sinks in as I massage my face and neck. However, it can be slightly drying after but a face moisturiser afterwards comes in handy to combat this.

What’s in it?

A mix of AHAs and BHAs are combined with gentle cleansing actives. These properties work in synergy to promote a clear and perfected complexion that is significantly less prone to breakouts.
Salicylic Acid decongests and exfoliates deep into the pores, it contains BHA which breaks down the clogged oil and skin cells that causes blemishes. You can find out more about Salicylic Acid in our post here.
L-Mandelic Acid is oil and water-soluble and has AHA and BHA properties to gently exfoliate deeply through the surface of the skin.
Niacinamide is also known as vitamin B3. This acts as an anti-inflammatory to reduce redness and irritation surrounding the blemishes while regulating sebum production to prevent blocked pores.
Tea Tree Oil works as an antimicrobial to help to keep complexions clear and blemish free caused by bacteria.
