Beauties, it’s the start of a new year and we thought it was about time our little monthly series had a bit of a revamp!
We’re changing the name of this series from ‘Star Picks’ to ‘Wow Beauty Loves’ which we’re loving a lot more… we hope you do too!
As always, these products may not be new items, but they’re often either new to us that we’ve loved across the month… and sometimes they’re old favourites that we’ve rediscovered and cannot stop using!
We’d love to hear what your favourites are… leave a comment below or email us at hi@wowbeauty.co with your suggestions, we can’t wait to hear from you!

Trepadora’s Papaya Slip
This gel-cream has grown on me and has been one I’ve reached for a lot this across the month on January. It has quite a sticky texture, which isn’t to everyone’s taste, but I find it really easy to use and it does give good hold to the hair. I like using this mainly when I first wash my hair and do the initial styling on wet hair (along with my other styling products)
It has a good ingredients list and I like that the packaging is airless, so it remains stable and active. A fab product.
Murad’s City Skin Overnight Detox Moisturiser
The outside world can be tough on the skin, particularly during the winter months. It’s exposed to many pollutants, particularly when living in the city, which can over time, damage the skins microbiome and leave it looking dull and lacklustre… not great.
I’m always looking for something that can not only strengthen my skin as I sleep, but also protect it for the day ahead… and this anti-oxidant rich moisturiser from Murad does just this.

Corrine Taylor’s Calm Aromatherapy Room & Linen Mist
If you love gorgeous fragrances you’ll love this lush aromatherapy room and linen mist from this fab organic brand. This really does transform any space with its lovely blend of organic patchouli, lavender and frankincense….it’s addictive! It helps you to exhale and is perfect on bedsheets too!
Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Foaming Cleanser

Alpha-H Firming Body Therapy wiith Caffeine and Raspberry Oil
Body lotions come and go in my skincare collection, truth be told, I can be a bit on the fussy side when it comes to bodycare… basically I can like something for a while and then discover something new and better. I am always happy to try something new and because my body skin is on the dry side I am always hoping for a body lotion that ticks most if not all of my boxes (I have learnt to be pragmatic).
This body cream has been formulated with ingredients that do more than just provide short lived superficial moisturising… love it!
