Antonia Burrell  Luminous Light Polishing Powder

With the ever-changing weather, I’ve been making more of an effort to keep my skin smooth and I’ve been using this which is one of my favourite skin polishes. As you’d expect from Antonia Burrell, this delivers on its promise to exfoliate, brighten and polish the skin. Everything in this product range is based on plant therapy so as you can imagine every ingredient here has a specific purpose. This is supremely effective while at the same time being gentle enough for sensitive skin. Plus this comes with a lovely silver spoon to help you to use the perfect amount for each use.

Prismologie Ruby & Cedarwood Dry Body Oil

Prismologie’s The Red Hour dry body oil is such a pleasure to use with its sublime cedarwood fragrance and silky texture. I love that its infused with ruby micro crystals to condition and leaves my skin scented and soft. This formula utilises omega 3,6,9 rich Argan and watermelon seed oils to provide deep moisturising and nourishment as well as lupin seed extract to boost your skin’s collagen and elasticity.

Okiki Carrot & Papaya Soap

This lush sweet smelling soap is made of skin-loving butters like shea butter & cocoa butter, blended with avocado oil, sea buckthorn oil, carrot and papaya ….these are the kind of ingredients that when used in skincare are touted for their ability to preserve, nourish and protect the skin. This soap is perfect for a revitalising cleansing experience.

Frank Body In Your Dreams Sleep Scrub and Soak

One thing I’ve really been enjoying recently and has had a very positive effect on my mood is having a nice warm bath, particular as the weather starts to cool down. I find it ultra-relaxing and I also love adding products such as bath oils and salts to create a real mood through scent. It’s a real mood booster.

I’m loving these bath salts because…

  • Their tongue in cheek packaging: for example it says ‘tear my top off’ at the top of the packaging where you rip… love the playfulness.
  • The lavender scent isn’t too overpowering. It enriches your bath without overpowering it.
  • It really shines when used as a body scrub – it feels amazing!

The skin is left feeling moisturised and super soft which is something I really enjoyed.

StriVectin Super-c Retinol™ Brighten & Correct Vitamin C Serum

This night serum from StriVection is a fabulous example of how Retinol and Vitamin C, two absolute powerhouse ingredients, can work together beautifully in a formula and create something quite special. As mentioned, it contains both Vitamin C and Vitamin A (retinol) to combine their magical effects into one night-time formula. You apply this in the evening and in the morning you wake up with gorgeously glowing skin… I’ve been trying this for a few weeks now and haven’t noticed any irritation which is usually associated with retinol.  Loving it!
